Thank you for another amazing year, Waco. We'll see you in 2024!
The third annual Dia de los Muertos Parade and Festival unfolded in a remarkable display of community resilience and support. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, attended, and sponsored this extraordinary event. Your unwavering enthusiasm and support made this year's celebration a monumental success!
The rain delay couldn't dampen the vibrant spirit and energy that flooded Indian Spring Park. This year's parade hosted over 45 local businesses and organizations in a colorful and lively procession. The festival, featuring local vendors, family activities, and incredible live performances from Los Texmaniacs, Reflejo Nuevo, DJ Térkò, Zamora County Line, Migzavier, Ballet Folklorico Sagrado Corazon, and University High School's Mariachi Troyanos encapsulated the rich cultural heritage of Dia de los Muertos and Waco's Hispanic community. Together, we honored the lives of our loved ones in a joyful and inclusive gathering, creating beautiful memories.
As we reflect on this year's celebration, we're excited to announce Dia de los Muertos Waco will return on November 2, 2024 —Dia de los Muertos Day! Mark your calendars, we can't wait to welcome you all back for another incredible year of celebrating life, culture, and community.
Congratulations to the 2023 Dia de los Muertos Parade winners! Thank you to the community for voting and supporting this year's participants.
