ARTPrenticeship is Creative Waco’s summer apprenticeship program for rising high-school juniors and seniors. Students are selected to join a professional mural team, learning how public art projects are planned, designed, and painted from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
You’ll collaborate with professional artists and other students to brainstorm ideas, develop designs, prep walls, and paint murals across Waco. Along the way, you’ll learn how creative projects work in the real world, from teamwork and communication to planning and execution.
What You’ll Gain
You’ll develop real artistic and professional skills, build a portfolio piece at city scale, and earn a stipend for your work. Most importantly, you’ll grow as an artist and as a collaborator.
