Family Day

Join us for Family Day at Art Center Waco, a free community event inviting children and families to explore their creativity together through hands-on artmaking.

This Family Day is going to be extra special as we celebrate our current exhibitions, including Hounds in the Hulse. We’ll have:

Beautiful rescue dogs joining us—and yes, there may be some opportunities to fall in love with a new furry friend! Animals Have Hearts, Too will be bringing adoptable rescue dogs for families to meet, love on, and learn more about! Stop by to meet the pups and learn how you can make a difference through adoption, fostering, volunteering, or supporting local rescue.

Chesley joining us as our featured artist, creating one of his wonderful dog paintings during the event.

Hands-on art activities for families, plenty of creativity, and lots of wagging tails!

Families are invited to drop in throughout the event and participate in creative activities designed to encourage imagination, artistic exploration, and time spent creating together.

Family Day is part of Art Center Waco’s ongoing commitment to making meaningful arts experiences accessible to our community.
