  • Illustration
  • Digital Imaging
  • Drawing
  • Photography
  • Filmmaking
  • Graphic Design

This program provides paid summer arts-based job training for youth (ages 16-20) in McLennan County public schools. Apprentices develop valuable work-readiness skills such as:

  • Time management
  • Public speaking
  • Teamwork
  • Job site management and safety
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving

Additionally, apprentices participate in interactive workshops that build real-world skills that can be used as a professional artist, or other career paths.

Teaching & Learning Structure

ARTPrenticeship emphasizes team-based learning with a 1:4 ratio of professional artists to apprentices. Team size may vary based on project scope and budget.
