2024 Waco Wonderland Parade

The deadline to apply for the parade was November 30th, parade applications are now closed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Vehicle & Float Standards: The intention of the Waco Wonderland Parade is to be full of festive holiday cheer! All vehicles and floats must be decorated in a manner that is festive, family-friendly, and appropriate for all ages. Non-decorated vehicles, such as a truck with a company logo only, will not be permitted.
2. Safety Standards: All parade floats, vehicles and participants are expected to prioritize the safety of participants and spectators, follow safety guidelines, and adhere to city, state, and federal laws. If safety appears to be a concern, participants will be asked to make adjustments or requested to not participate. All individuals on trailers or truck beds must be securely seated; standing or hanging over the sides of vehicles is not permitted.

   Organizations must comply with all requests and directives of Creative Waco and City of Waco staff to ensure all participants, at the sole discretion of Creative Waco and the City of Waco, have a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience.

3. Community Standards: Participants will be respectful to fellow vendors and volunteers. If the organization fails to abide by these community standards then Creative Waco and the City of Waco reserve the right to cancel their application. Creative Waco and the City of Waco may amend or update these terms and conditions at any time in the future.
4. Candies & Goodies: Per City of Waco guidelines and for safety purposes candy and goodies can only be handed out directly to spectators by individuals walking alongside the parade route, ensuring a safe distance from the moving vehicles; throwing or tossing candy at or towards spectators from a distance or from a moving vehicle is not permitted.
5. Inclement Weather: Participants will not hold Creative Waco or the City of Waco liable for loss or damages of products, personal belongings and/or display materials due to inclement weather conditions. Creative Waco and the City of Waco reserve the right to postpone or cancel events due to inclement weather conditions or safety precautions.

• Lined Up & Ready: 9:30 AM along 11th - 14th & Austin Avenue
• Parade Begins: 10:00 AM
• Parade Ends: Approximately 11:00 AM
